Handtaschen der Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton Herbst 2012

Überlassen Sie es Louis Vuitton, ein Handtaschenproblem zu lösen, von dem wir nicht einmal wussten, dass wir es haben – wie bringt man mehr Handtaschen auf den Laufsteg, als es Models gibt, die sie tragen können, ohne die Konfektionsware zu beschweren? Wie sich herausstellt, besteht die Antwort darin, eine Show zum Thema Reisen zu erstellen, komplett mit einem funktionierenden Zug, und den Models jeweils einen in Uniform gekleideten Gepäckträger zur Verfügung zu stellen, der ihr „Gepäck“ trägt. Vuitton nutzt die Vorteile dieser Laufsteghelfer voll aus und belud jeden Modelhelfer mit mehreren Taschen – manchmal bis zu vier.
Das bedeutet, dass wir auf dem Laufsteg jede Menge schönes Gepäck zu sehen bekamen, von übergroßen Krokodil-Hutschachteln bis hin zu traditionellen Gepäckkoffern. Etwas schwierig war es jedoch, als die Show sowohl im übertragenen als auch im wörtlichen Sinne zu normalen Handtaschen übergeht. Während einige der mit Pelz verzierten Monogramm-Taschen wunderschön waren, sahen andere mit Pelz überzogene Schulranzen etwas zu sehr nach Cousin It aus. Außerdem bin ich mir nicht sicher, wie hochwertig die verwitterten runden Hardware-Verschlüsse vieler Taschen aussehen. So sehr ich die Vuitton-Kollektion der letzten Saison auch geliebt habe, es könnte etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig sein, sich an diese zu gewöhnen.
