Louis Vuitton Frühling 2011 Wäre eine wilde, bunte Fahrt durch Safari und asiatischen Kitsch. Kreativdirektor Marc Jacobs geht nicht gerne länger als für ein paar Augenblicke in eine Richtung, und eine Kollektion mit einer starken Sichtweise ist immer ein guter Hinweis darauf, dass die nächste Kollektion genauso stark sein wird, aber in die entgegengesetzte Richtung.
Anstelle der Dutzenden neutraler Variationen des klassischen Speedy-Themas der letzten Saison präsentierte uns Vuitton auffällige, farbblockierte Clutches und kleine Umhängetaschen, die in kunstvoll kontrastierendem Technicolor schrien. Logos waren sichtbar (das ist schließlich Louis Vuitton), aber abgesehen von ein paar Clutches, die in Großbuchstaben von VUITTON proklamiert wurden, war das berühmte Monogramm weniger aufdringlich, als es normalerweise in der durchschnittlichen LV-Kollektion der Herbst ist. Diese Taschen werden sicherlich einige mit Kopfschütteln auslösen, insbesondere bei Kunden, die im Herbst 2010 eine mögliche Rückkehr zu den Wurzeln der Marke sahen, aber sie liegen voll im Trend und sind so fröhlich, dass ich sie einfach mag.
