Handtaschen der Fashion Week: Prada Herbst 2012

Das hört sich vielleicht etwas seltsam an, aber ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt von Pradas Hingabe, skurril, intellektuell anspruchsvoll und durch und durch moderne Laufstegkollektionen zu entwerfen, die sich nur bei sklavischen Modefans besonders gut verkaufen lassen. Nur wenige Unternehmen ähnlicher Größe sind bereit, Dinge so weitgehend unzugänglich zu machen wiePrada Herbst 2012auf dem Laufsteg, und dieser anhaltenden Mut gibt mir großen Respekt vor Miuccia Prada als kreativer Kraft.

Ob Ihnen diese Taschen gefallen, hängt weitgehend davon ab, ob Sie Pradas charakteristischen Retro-Modernismus bezaubernd finden oder nicht. Das tue ich, außerdem waren die auffälligen 60er-Jahre-Drucke und die noch größeren Edelsteinverzierungen auf den minimalistischen Taschen genau das Richtige für mich. Ein weiteres merkwürdiges Highlight waren die winzigen verzierten Minaudières mit Lederschulterriemen. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich jemals Taschen mit dieser Kombination von Elementen gesehen habe, was viel sagt, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich 40 bis 60 Stunden pro Woche damit verbringe, mir Handtaschen anzuschauen. Noch ein Leckerbissen? Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Designern kombinierte Miuccia in dieser Show jeden einzelnen Look mit einer passenden Handtasche. Wenn nur mehr Marken dieser Idee folgen würden.
