Celine Teen Triomphe Price Increase Hits Europe: What You Need to Know

Celine has discreetly adjusted prices in Europe, following a similar move by its sister brand Louis Vuitton. The change affects only the Teen Triomphe, one of the house's most recognizable bags, and applies to two leather variations. The increase comes amid parent company LVMH's Q1 earnings report, which showed a 5% organic decline in Fashion & Leather Goods revenue.

Teen Triomphe Price Adjustments in Europe

The Shiny Calfskin Teen Triomphe now costs €3,300, up from €2,850—a €450 jump, or 15.8%. The Natural Calfskin version rose from €3,300 to €3,600, a 9% increase. Other Triomphe styles, including the Classique Triomphe in Shiny Calfskin, Natural Calfskin, and Triomphe Canvas, as well as the Teen Triomphe in Triomphe Canvas, Lizard, and Python, remain at their previous prices.

What About Other Celine Lines?

Fortunately for fans of the brand, the Camille, Nino, 16, and Victoire lines have not seen any price changes. This means those wishlist items are safe—for now.

US and UK Markets Unaffected

Currently, there are no price changes for Celine in the United States or the United Kingdom. A rumored increase expected on April 21 in the US did not materialize. However, with ongoing tariff tensions affecting European imports, American shoppers may want to stay vigilant. Hermès has already announced a US price increase to offset tariffs.

LVMH's Stance on Pricing

During LVMH's Q1 2025 revenue call, CFO Cécile Cabanis described the tariff situation as fluid. She emphasized that pricing is not the group's primary growth driver—volume and mix are—but acknowledged that increases could offset inflation. She noted that any adjustments would not be one-size-fits-all and could vary by brand and category. This leaves open the possibility of future US price changes, though timing and scope remain uncertain.
