Van Cleef & Arpels Price Increase 2025: Alhambra, Perlée, Frivole New Prices

On April 25, 2025, Van Cleef & Arpels implemented a worldwide price adjustment, affecting its most celebrated jewelry lines: Alhambra, Perlée, and Frivole. The move, which had been anticipated by industry observers, reflects ongoing shifts in the luxury jewelry market. In the United States, prices rose by an average of 4.8%, while Europe saw an average increase of 5.1% across the Alhambra collection. Not all pieces were impacted equally; some designs remained unchanged, particularly in Europe, where several all-diamond rings and a popular necklace escaped the hike.

The Alhambra collection, an icon of the Maison, experienced the most varied adjustments. In the U.S., increases ranged from a modest 0.9% to a steep 14.3%, while in Europe, the range was 0.9% to 10.8%. Malachite and mother-of-pearl were the stones with the highest jumps. For instance, the Magic Alhambra Earrings with 3 motifs in 18K yellow gold, diamond, and malachite surged from ,800 to ,500 in the U.S., a 14.3% rise. In Europe, a similar Vintage Alhambra style rose 10.8%, from €20,200 to €22,400. Other pieces in the Vintage, Magic, and Sweet Alhambra lines saw increases typically between 3% and 7% in both regions. Notably, in Europe, the fully diamond Vintage Alhambra rings and the Vintage Alhambra 10-motif necklace in diamond remained at their previous prices.

The Perlée collection told a different story. In Europe, prices held steady, but in the U.S., the entire line saw modest increases from 2.1% to 3.6%. For example, the Perlée Pearls of Gold Ring in 18K yellow gold went from 0 to 0, a bump, while the Perlée Clovers Diamond Pendant in 18K yellow gold with diamond rose 0, from ,100 to ,250.

Similarly, the Frivole collection remained unchanged in Europe, but U.S. prices increased between 2.1% and 3.5%. The Frivole Bracelet Mini Model in 18K white gold and diamond increased by 0, from ,600 to ,700 (2.1%), and the Frivole Pendant Small Model in 18K yellow gold and diamond rose 0, from ,950 to ,300 (3.5%).
